Escalators and Roads

KOİNS ESCALATOR SYSTEMS (24 ° in your special projects,   25 °   and   27 ° inclined systems are available.)

Escalator systems are a unique means of human transport in every aspect. Among the features of escalators, we can count the small footprint, reliability, simultaneous and uninterrupted appeal to large masses, speed, time saving and aesthetics of their appearance. Escalator systems must also be supported by elevator systems. The reason for this is that very old people, people with prams or physically disabled people have difficulty in choosing a step. Although escalator systems are produced for these special situations, they are not common.

KOİNS Escalator systems provide ease of use and safety for the transportation of the most people in the shortest time in open / closed public areas with heavy human traffic. KOİNS Escalator Solutions, which are designed in a cycle logic for the purpose of use of architectural structures, are designed according to functional usage conditions such as the structure, size and area selection of the architectural space.

KOİNS Escalator Systems offer uninterrupted-fast-safe-economical and aesthetic solutions in public areas with high human density such as business centers, shopping malls, airports, subways, hospitals and pedestrian crossings with heavy building traffic.

KOİNS LADDER WORKING SYSTEM

The most important feature of escalators produced for outdoor environment is that they are produced with high quality and durable materials against corrosion. Another difference that separates escalator systems into two different categories is railing systems. While glass is used as a railing system material for escalators produced for closed areas; Escalator railing system for open areas is produced from stainless steel plates.

Some variable parameters determine the overall dimensions of the escalators. Escalator calculation is projected according to variable parameters such as climbing angle, climbing height, step width and speed. Speed and step width are directly proportional to the carrying capacity.

Special solutions are designed by KOİNS Project and R&D teams by calculating the escalator dimensions according to the building traffic and carrying capacity. The escalator dimensions are calculated and projected according to the climbing height, the vertical distance of the elevation to be connected and the climbing angle (standard 30 ° or 35 °).

SPECIAL LADDER SOLUTIONS FOR EVERY PROJECT

The correct management of building traffic and the number of people transported in architectural projects turns into escalator solutions specific to each project, with the knowledge and experience of the KOİNS Project Management Team in different areas of expertise.

KOİNS Escalator Systems , which are resistant to heavy usage conditions such as train stations, airports, subways, stadiums, pedestrian crossings , have the feature of heavy duty stairs that work in all environments and conditions. Galvanized body which has been hot-dipped against harsh weather conditions and hand straps made of steel wire are advantageous in terms of operating costs.

Safety is provided at the highest level with KOINS escalator safety sensor technology, which increases passenger safety without any technical problems in areas with heavy traffic and ensures the system's compliance with safety standards.

KOİNS Escalator offers high quality and reliable system products with the shortest deadlines in the market with 90% domestic industrial production, R&D and investments to improve innovation infrastructure.

WALKING STAIRS LAYOUT PLANS

Escalators can be installed parallel or diagonally depending on the situation of the residential area. In both cases, the ascent and downstream facilities can be side by side or separated by a certain distance from each other. In cases where a single escalator is not sufficient, a third facility can be set up in a multi-stage parallel arrangement. The facilities have the flexibility of use in terms of heavy traffic.

The following factors are important in positioning the escalators to the usage area:

a) Building structure

b) Traffic flow direction

c) Traffic volume

d) Application area (commercial sector, public transport)

e) Special customer requests

Considering all these factors, the arrangement of escalators that are planned to be installed in closed or open areas are as follows:

1- Single Unit

2- Continuous Layout

3- Discrete Layout

4- Parallel Discrete Layout

5- Cross Continuous Layout

SINGLE UNIT

One unit connects the two floors together. It is generally used where there is one-way traffic flow. According to the traffic flow, the direction of the escalator can be flexibly adjusted, for example, in a business center, flow can be provided upwards in the morning and downstream in the evening.

Single unit escalator drawing is below.

CONTINUOUS ORDER

This arrangement is generally used to connect three or more layers together. Although it is not suitable for the workplace as it takes up more space than the split layout, it provides more comfortable and fast movement of the users.

The continuous layout escalator drawing is below.

DISCRETE LAYOUT

This arrangement causes loss of time during the movements of the users, but it is more suitable because it takes up less space than the continuous layout.

The discrete layout escalator drawing is below.

PARALLEL DISCRETE LAYOUT

This layout is generally used in workplaces with high traffic volumes and places where public transportation is very intense. The direction of the traffic flow can be arranged in the same or opposite direction according to the traffic density for parallel units.

The parallel discrete layout escalator drawing is below.

CROSS-CONTINUOUS ORDER

It is appropriate to use this order in administrative buildings, places where public transportation is intense and when the transportation time between floors is desired to be minimum.

Below is the cross continuous layout escalator drawing.

The most common arrangement is cross arrangement. When used in shopping malls and stores, it reduces the traffic flow time between the escalators and the passengers can see the floors and products comfortably. Parallel placement, on the other hand, has good traffic capability and the multiple parallel arrangement allows the maximum number of passengers to be transported in minimum time. When escalators are installed on top of each other, space is gained and the floor area is used in the most effective way. There is no need for architectural changes in the building. Although there is no congestion between those who want to use the stairs and those who leave the stairs, the disadvantage of the situation is that they can carry passengers either up or down in one way.
